Wallace was born 1963, Durban, South Africa. A Conceptual Artist who approaches her paintings with intent, and a sensitivity to the materials. Her artworks convey prophetic narratives.

Wallace studied Visual Arts for three years at the Witwatersrand Technikon, majoring in Painting, Printmaking and Ceramics. She has exhibited at various art galleries, and achieved various art awards.

These include a Merit Award-Impressions Exhibition, Johannesburg National Art Gallery.

 ABSA Atelier- she was placed as a finalist. At the New Signatures exhibition named one of twenty - five up and coming visual artists in South Africa. While exhibiting at the Market Gallery in Johannesburg well-known art critic Elza Miles purchased her artwork featured on Portfolio.

Her artwork 'Dreamer Among Wakers' which dealt with the devastating ravages of schizophrenia was part of a group exhibition - Challenging Jabulisa, at the Tatham National Art Gallery, Pietermaritzburg.

She has traveled, and worked extensively in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States of America doing commissioned artworks and paintings. Most recently, she was one of three finalists in a competition for a sculpture in a public place, winning a cash prize, and thereafter she as invited to exhibit her paintings at the National Art Gallery Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal.

Wallace lives in Nijmegen, Netherlands and is presently working on a body of work influenced by her present environment.
